Assistant Wardens
Closing Date:

Andrewshayes Holiday Park is a family run 4-star holiday park located in beautiful east Devon countryside with 80 static caravans, 110 seasonal pitches and 40 touring pitches. There is an indoor swimming pool and a bar and takeaway on site. We are located 3 miles west of Axminster and approximately 6 miles inland.

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, self-motivated and active couple to join our close knit team on a long-term basis as assistant wardens from mid February to early November. The successful applicants must have excellent people/communication skills, a positive, flexible ‘can do’ attitude with a friendly outgoing personality and a high standard of customer care. A high standard of cleaning is essential together with good DIY/maintenance skills. They must be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a close knit team and be prepared to ‘muck in’ when needed. Some caravan knowledge and towing experience would be useful (current UK driving licence essential for at least one applicant in each couple).

The work will include reception/shop duties (computerised booking system so basic IT skills are essential), cleaning of amenity blocks and holiday homes, groundwork and maintenance, swimming pool maintenance, meeting and greeting arrivals, evening on-call (shared with other wardens), pitching caravans and dealing with any customer queries.

Previous park warden experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

It is a five-day working week plus evening on call and working weekends and bank holidays. Hours are variable but are approximately 30 hours per week. You will need to have a flexible attitude to work and working hours as the work and hours may vary from day to day.

The salary is above National Minimum Wage and includes seasonal accommodation in a 2-bedroom static home including gas, electric and free laundry. Pets by agreement.
