Situated in the heart of rural Aberdeenshire 38 miles from Aberdeen and 60 miles from Inverness. Winner of the AA best campsite in Scotland 2020 and a AA 5 Pennant gold award since 2016, this Caravan and Motorhome Club Affiliated Park is set in 15 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds close to the river Deveron and only a 10 minute walk to the town centre of Huntly.
The park has 60 touring pitches, 30 tent pitches, 35 privately owned caravan holiday homes, 1 holiday caravan for hire and 2 toilet blocks.
Huntly Castle Caravan Park has a vacancy for fit, active, outgoing persons as caravan park wardens from mid March or earlier to the end of October 2023 with the possibility of full time for the right candidates. There is also the possibility of advancing to become park managers.
In return we would be offering an excellent financial package including accrued holiday pay and pension contributions as well as either a good quality double glazed, central heated holiday home or a fully serviced pitch for you own uk caravan or motorhome, laundry, wifi and a 50%allowance for utilities in return for working either a 5, 5.5, or 6 days per week to include weekends, bank holidays, late arrivals and evenings on call. The days off will be mid week consecutive for both persons.
Duties will include but not limited to manning the reception, consistently providing excellent customer service, always meeting customer expectations and taking them to there pitch. Dealing with telephone enquiries, relating to touring caravans, motorhomes, tents, caravan holiday homes for hire and caravan holiday homes for sale. Basic computer skills required to deal with our online booking system by Camp Manager, emails and social media enquiries along with associated administration.
Cleaning the office, toilet and shower blocks (1 to 2) depending on demand. Caravan holiday home for hire, including laundry, ironing to the highest of standards.
Park and Ground works to include but not limited to general DIY and maintenance tasks, grass cutting using ride on mower, hand mower, strimmer, pruning, weed control, refuse collection and changing gas cylinders. Ensuring the park is maintained to the highest of standards.
Evening Duties will cover late arrivals and customer call outs check toilet facilities and closing the entrance gate.
The successful applicants must be fit, active, friendly, honest and outgoing with a can do attitude. Have excellent customer service skills. Previous experience preferred but not essential, knowledge of caravanning would be beneficial. Must be extremely flexible and be able to work as part of a small team.
