The Boardwalk Bistro is located next to the beautiful Ynyslas Nature Reserve on the Welsh Coast. We are looking for a Chef to manage the kitchen and help us to build a food service operation to be proud of. The bistro has been refurbished and re-branded for 2021 and we are looking for a Chef Manager to be an integral part of this re-branding and the future success of this new venture.

The role includes managing a small kitchen team, cooking and preparing food, stock ordering and stock control, developing specials and ideas for promoting the business as well as other general duties. You will be expected to keep a clean and tidy kitchen at all times and follow health and safety and hygiene procedures. Some front of house duties may also be required and you must be a team player who is willing to step in and help colleagues when required.

The position may involve lone working at times and involves evening and weekend working.

Our staff are all expected to have excellent customer service skills and be willing to adhere to company procedures. The role would suit an existing chef/cook with a minimum of 12 months experience. The salary is negotiable depending on experience.
