A unique opportunity exists at Lovat Parks Limited, a fast growing, acquisitive and dynamic company within the holiday home and leisure sector. As Financial Controller, you will bring more than the average accountant. We are looking for someone who is immediately capable of understanding our business, advising strategically on projected rapid growth, has the ability to proactively drive the business forward whilst managing the day-to-day accounting functions. your contribution will be key to achieving our growth targets.
You will have previous experience of the leisure industry, be technically and commercially competent and able to develop and maintain robust and efficient financial systems, policies and procedures, including developing our P&L reporting. We’re looking for someone to develop our management, control and reporting across all departments and who can provide the Board, Management Team and budget holders with absolute clarity of profit and loss, forecasts, reporting, limitation and adjustments to financial liabilities and risk. You’ll have had experience of embedding systems and reporting through coaching and support of colleagues.
Being a qualified accountant is a must, as well as superb organisational and influencing skills. You’ll have a track record of leading an efficient, proactive and business focused finance function. We are looking for someone with experience of project managing system implementation, which will be a priority in this role. Flexibility in approach and hours will be essential, we’re a rapidly growing business and there will be peaks in workload as we respond to the growth. Initiative, communication skills, professionalism and the ability to work well with others will be a given.
