Two General managers required for commercial holiday parks, approx. 190 pitches with a mixed business between holiday home owners and a small high fleet operation.

General Managers display energy, passion and drive on a daily basis, thriving to exceed expectations and deliver outstanding service consistently.

You will mirror these qualities and inspire your team to go above and beyond in their duties. You will lead and oversee the Heads of Departments, helping to create an unrivalled experience by bringing innovative ideas to the company. Your approachable manor will aid team communication, whilst your positive nature enhances your team’s commitment. You will work diligently to surpass financial and service targets set to succeed in your role

Located on a 5-star holiday home & lodge Park, you will be responsible for the daily running of the business. Ability to manage and support each department to deliver 5-star standards and services, generating income through lodge and caravan sales, holiday fleet bookings, pitch revenue and a retail operation.

• Ensuring a warm and welcoming environment is standard for all owner’s and potential customers
• Displaying a positive, can do attitude, at all times, motivating the team to succeed
• Walking the park weekly, working closely with the maintenance manager to ensure the park is presented and maintained to the highest standard
• Ensuring each holiday maker receives a personalised welcome that is in keeping with our 5-star standards
• Delivering the targeted bottom line contribution
• Monitoring and managing costs, ensuring department and wage budgets are upheld, whilst sales and standards are not compromised
• Examining the P&L accounts monthly, ensuring invoices are accurately allocated
• Being responsible for the Health & Safety’s implementation across the entire park. Monitoring our company system PRIME Safety, ensuring all checks are up to date and addressing any highlighted requirements
• Motivating and managing your team, ensuring they understand their role within the business and have the necessary tools
• Organising regular HOD meetings, monitoring each departments progress and communicating any relevant information
• Ensuring your HOD’s work together as a team
• Leading by example, personally displaying the companies integrity and 5 star standard values at all times
• Dealing with holiday home owners to build a good working relationship

Requirements:
• Professional General Manager with previous experience who has an understanding of the industry and experience working for a 5-star business
• A positive and problem-solving attitude
• Caravan sales knowledge and experience is essential
• Excellent managerial and organisational skills
• Self-motivated and committed to exceeding expectations
• 5-star personal presentation
• Experience of overseeing a F&B operation is essential
• A full UK driving licence is essential due to the location of the park
