Hagans Leisure Group are delighted to invite applications for General Manager at Solway Holiday Village. Based in Silloth, Cumbria, the park has 120 hire pitches with a range of caravans and lodges with hot tubs, 300 caravan owner pitches, 110 touring pitches, and 90 residential pitches. Consent exists for significantly more development, so the role will involve managing substantial investment programmes to deliver growth and the highest quality standards. The park boasts an indoor heated pool, activity centre and play areas and has a substantial food/beverage offering in its large entertainment complex.
+Taking full accountability for the day-to-day running of the park ensuring all revenue targets and budgets are achieved, whilst ensuring excellent customer experience. Effectively managing and developing the team on park and oversee all departments whilst empowering the department heads to develop their own teams in order to deliver and exceed their budgets.
+Reporting to the Managing Director and Head Office Management as required on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis
+Ensuring compliance in all areas of health and safety legislation and human resources
+Actively working with the training and development of all staff and carry out regular meetings and appraisals
+Performing any other duties as required by the Managing Director to ensure the successful and efficient running of the park
+Driven with the ability to both lead and manage a large team;
+Understand the importance of team training and development;
+Able to communicate at all levels including board level;
+Confidential and trustworthy;
+Diplomatic with excellent negotiation skills;
+Excellent Salary and bonus package (OTE £70,000 +)
