Summary of Job Role

To oversee the day to day running of Hazelgrove Residential and Caravan Park and Redcar Beach Caravan Park, on a practical, financial and administrative basis, reporting to the Operations Director with responsibility primarily being of an Operational & Sales function to include but not limited to:

• Developing and implementing the parks long term stability and growth programme

• Providing clear guidance to all employees in relation to the management of the parks

• Maintaining the relationship with Park Home & Caravan Owners

• Managing the sales process of Park Homes & Caravans ensuring sales complete in-line with legislative criteria.

Summary of tasks

• Full financial day to day management of the parks
• Full operational day to day management of the parks
• Recording and submitting of sales & financial reports as and when required by the Directors or Senior Managers
• Build and maintain a strong relationship with Park Home & Caravan Owners
• Monitor & give direction to all other employees in relation to the general upkeep and maintenance of the parks
• Management of park security requirements
• Upholding and implementing Health & Safety Policies & Procedures
• Ensure compliance with The Fire Safety Order and Fire Risk Assessment
• Ensure a safe environment for owners, visitors, employees and contractors on the parks
• Controlling and provide an audit trail of income received on behalf of the company
• Liaise, assist (and where necessary supervise) contractors with maintenance and other works as directed
• Maintain records and process all “after sales” warranty and non-warranty claims
• Liaising with appointed tradesmen during developments or remedial works
• Assist with the implementation of park rules, e.g. speeding vehicles, dogs not on leads etc.
• Oversea daily and weekly checks of the parks and report any obvious problems via company reporting procedures
• Any additional tasks which may arise at the Directors discretion.

Key Skills

• Previous experience in a similar type role Managing / Supervising
• IT literate and a comprehensive understanding of Windows based programmes to include Word, Excel and Outlook is essential
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach
• Focused on delivering outstanding customer service
• The ability to communicate clearly and confidently with a range of people, both on the phone and face-to-face
• Strong teamwork skills are essential.
