The successful Holiday Park Manager will lead, manage and be responsible for the day to day operations of running the Holiday Park whilst ensuring the highest level of service to our guests and visitors is provided at all times.
From looking after Self-catering accommodation to Sales, Seasonals and Statics, Lodges and Luxury Lodge owners, Tourers & Camping guests to a busy heated outdoor pool.
We have an opportunity for an inspiring leader to join a high performing team and be part of, and integrated with, the wider Rudding Park community.
Daily responsibilities will include:
• Managing customer service issues including complaints which may arise
• Managing reservation enquiries, general enquiries and confirmation of bookings and payments
• Managing the seasonal tourer availability and allocation of pitches
• Managing the activities of the administration office including insurances, IT systems, office supplies, metre readings, brochures, occupancy information, welcome packs and any other relevant tasks
• Reconciling cash, cheques and credit cards on a daily basis, completing all relevant documentation for accounting and banking purposes and process payments for all Holiday Park business accurately
• Managing all site fee bills for all privately owned units and seasonal tourers
• Managing all gas and electricity accounts
• Comparing and analysing sales between previous year’s figures and current year’s budget
• Producing and analysing the forecast revenue reports, daily pick up and monthly forecasts
• Managing the availability reports and assisting with monthly initiatives to fill unused dates
• Designing a selling strategy for tourers that will maximise revenue for the business
• Managing the reservation and booking systems to ensure the highest levels of revenue possible
• Ensuring that all computer systems are operating correctly and are updated as and when required
• Maintaining databases of Holiday Park guests in line with current legislation
• Ensuring that the Duty Manager has received all the necessary information available regarding late arrivals, key collection and messages
• Managing and supervising employees in accordance with Human Resources Policies and Practices including undertaking performance management reviews and dealing with performance issues where necessary
• Identifying appropriate training and development courses to meet training needs including statutory requirements
• Formulating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring that all staff are aware and trained accordingly and procedures are followed
