We are looking for a Holiday Park Warden / Assistant Manager to support the Holiday Park Manager in the day-to-day running and maintenance of the park and self-catering properties, and ensuring excellent guest experience. You will be responsible for the day to day work allocation for cleaners, swimming pool attendants, park assistants and apprentices.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic team player seeking to join a high performing team and part of the wider Rudding Park Hotel, Golf and Spa community.
Daily responsibilities will include:
• Deputising for and assisting the Holiday Park Manager as and when required including acting as Duty Manager
• Managing any customer service issues including complaints which may arise
• Taking reservations and confirming bookings
• Managing the seasonal tourer availability and allocation of pitches
• Managing the activities of the administration office including insurances, IT systems, office supplies, metre readings, brochures, occupancy information, welcome packs and any other relevant tasks
• Daily banking
• Managing all site fee bills for all privately owned units and seasonal tourers
• Managing all gas and electricity accounts
• Managing the availability reports and assisting with monthly initiatives to fill unused dates
• Ensuring that all computer systems are operating correctly and are updated as and when required
• Ensuring that the Duty Manager has received all the necessary information available regarding late arrivals, key collection and messages
• Managing and supervising employees in accordance with Human Resources Policies and Practices including undertaking performance management reviews and dealing with performance issues where necessary
• Identifying appropriate training and development courses to meet training needs including statutory requirements
• Formulating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring that all staff are aware and trained accordingly
• Identifying, coordinating and promoting new and innovative opportunities for future developments in agreement with the Holiday Park Manager
• Ensuring the provision of a quality service and product at all times
• Maintaining well-kept Holiday Park grounds including cleaning facilities where needed
• Checking grounds daily and implementing necessary improvements as directed by the Holiday Park Manager
• Communicating with the Holiday Park Manager to produce high standards throughout
• Carrying out any day to day maintenance that is required within the grounds
• Health & Safety – training, monitoring and record keeping
• Siting caravans
• Where needed be on call to assist and carry out maintenance and repair out of normal office hours.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,000.00-
