Part-time position for 2 people with an average of 30 hours (between you) per week with the possibility of extra hours during busy times.
This is not a classic ‘warden role’ you would be working part-time alongside our managers to help out with cleaning and grounds maintenance.

This role is ideally suited to a financially stable couple looking for a small income to support a more laid-back kind of lifestyle to explore beautiful Cornwall

Previous experience of holiday let cleaning with a keen eye for detail and an enthusiasm for gardening would be a great advantage

Successful applicants must have their own caravan or motorhome in which to live (pitch provided)

Employment from Apr to the end of Sept

Duties include:

·Cleaning of cottages, both applicants will be required to clean the cottages together to a very high standard. Previous experience of holiday let cleaning with a keen eye for detail would be a great advantage
·Gardening/grounds maintenance to include grass cutting, hedge cutting, strimming, weeding and care of flower beds
·Cleaning our toilet/shower block
·Greeting guests on the manager’s day off
·General maintenance with a practical knowledge of electrics & plumbing would be an advantage, not essential
·Basic computer skills required to get the day’s arrival/departure information from our booking system – this is not an office-based job, you will not be required to do any other office work

We need a couple who are flexible, hard-working, enjoy being outdoors and self-motivated to complete jobs to a high standard and are able to work well together and separately

Part-time position, hours/days will vary due to weather and cottage changeover days

During the summer the majority of the work is cleaning (cottages & toilets)

At the start and end of the season, the majority of the work is outside grounds maintenance which can be a physically challenging job. We therefore need a couple who are active, have good mobility and have no ongoing health concerns with your back and knees etc that would prevent you from doing the gardening

We will require on average 30 hours (total for both) of paid work over 4-5 days per week. This may increase to 40 hours per week during busier times. It is therefore essential to have flexibility and willingness to do additional hours when needed
