Management Team required for riverside Norfolk Broads pub, The Fisherman’s Inn.
Seasonal contract, to start immediately – end of October.
48K Pro rata’d salary for division, plus caravan accommodation if required.
We are looking for a qualified Chef and FOH management team to manage a fantastic riverside Pub and Food establishment at the heart of the Norfolk Broads in beautiful Burgh Castle. With huge potential, we are looking for the right team with experience in the independent pub industry and general management, to generate increased food and drink sales and to enhance our guests’ experience, within company set guidelines and procedures.
Peak holiday periods bring a high influx of visitors by foot, car and boat so the potential management team must have a strong ethic to work according to trading demands and the enthusiasm to successfully drive trade during the quieter times.
The qualified chef will have: competence in the overall kitchen management, a passion for food, creating attractive and location appropriate menus and a good understanding of how to produce freshly-made and beautifully presented food dishes with a good understanding of GP%.
The experienced FOH manager will have: competence in overall bar management, good product knowledge, excellent communication skills and outstanding customer service.
Shared duties and competences include but aren’t limited to: recruitment/training/rota’s, ordering and stock control, cellar management, computer literacy, EPOS management, daily/weekly financial reconciliations, social media, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring health and safety compliance, great leadership skills, hold recognised up to date Food Hygiene certification and BIIAB Personal Licenses.
On completion of a successful and profitable season, the managers will be invited back for an extended season the following year.
This position would suit joint applicants however we will consider a single chef/manager with previous pub management experience, salary would be adjusted to reflect.
