OVERVIEW
Burton Constable Holiday Park is a five-star, family-owned and -operated holiday park in the heart of East Yorkshire. Part of the Burton Constable estate, we have 500 bases – 400 holiday homes and the rest touring/camping/glamping.
We are looking to recruit a Sales Manager with considerable industry experience to drive holiday home sales on the park and develop the sales office.
This position comes with considerable on-target earnings and a clear career pathway for those looking to progress.
PACKAGE & QUALIFICATIONS
Salary – £26k-£30k based on experience
Commission – generous (higher or lower depending on salary)
Bonus – target-driven, payable biannually (March & September)
Contracted to work five days per week – 28 days’ holiday including bank holidays (not to be taken during peak selling season)
Accommodation can be included with the role.
OTE: £75k with salary and commission, before bonus.
The ideal candidate for this values-driven business should be honest, professional, and respectful. They should have and drive the highest standards in terms of their communications with customers, their presentation of holiday homes, their personal appearance, their management of the sales office and team; they must be a brand ambassador for the business.
They should be a motivated, well-organised individual with a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers. They should have 5+ years of holiday home sales experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

New buys
Part-exchanges
Managing customers:
Potential customers (i.e. lead management)
Existing customers (holiday home owners)
Generating leads:
Directing lead-gen activity (internal / external) executed by marketing team
Generating own leads (e.g. via Facebook marketplace)
Develop sales team office:
Managing all leads
Recruiting sales executive
Working with sales administration team
Starting sales office in the shop
Personal development
Potential upwards movement to develop into a selling General Manager; if this isn’t the right path, being part of the Senior Leadership Team
