Live and work at the wonderful family-run tree-lined Willowbank Holiday Park near Southport in the beautiful northwest of England. A 5 minute drive from the Sefton coastline popular with cyclists and walkers.

This job is ideal for someone who enjoys office administration, dealing with customers, selling and the holiday park lifestyle.

Prior experience is not essential as a warden. For the right person this is a great opportunity. But it is important that you are sure it is right for you.

You will be part of a team focused on selling holiday homes and managing holiday home owners at Willowbank Holiday Park.  In addition you will be involved with the tourer side of the business helping to check people in and evening on duty responsibilities.

We sell holiday homes to people who own the holiday home and pay an annual pitch fee. There are 200 holiday home pitches and we have 78 tourer pitches.

The work follows the rhythm of a holiday park with work on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays with some responsibilities to be ‘on standby’ on some evenings to deal with emergenices and late check-ins.

There is sometimes a requirement to check the tourer toilets are clean. Days off are Monday and Tuesday. Holiday is taken at the end of the season. The role is suited to those with flexibility in their personal life.

The responsibilities include:

Sales administration – manage the end-to-end sales process so that all paperwork is prepared, completed and filed properly and ensure that all aspects of a holiday home sale are completed (e.g. book a gas safety test) before a new holiday home owner gets the keys

Sales viewings – show potential customers who have booked or turned up on spec around the holiday homes for sale.

Post-Sales Support – provide support after the sale including dealing with any manufacturer quality issues and addressing any issues that arise for the customer

Holiday Home Owner Support – once people are holiday home owners, there is a need to manage the jobs that come up (e.g. caravan wash, gas bottle delivery, clear trees, approve a balcony decking order).

Tourer Check-in and Queries – we have number plate recognition which minimises the need for the daily flow of check-ins and check-outs to be done in person. You will be doing some of this as part of working in Reception.

‘On Standby’ Evening Warden – for two or three nights of the week, you will be ‘on standby’

You will be working in a team which includes a warden with some similar responsibilities whom you will work closely with as well as a park facilities team and managing director.

Accommodation is provided on the park. You will be living in a holiday home with utility bills included.

There will be a probationary period of 1 month.

Skills needed:

Be a people person

Be very comfortable working with computers to organise and do your work. We use WhatsApp with customers, extensively use a park management system called CampManager for payments and orders
