Job Vacancy: Seasonal Wardens
Bilton Park is a family run touring, static and residential Park set in the Nidd Gorge Conservation Area we are surrounded by tranquil, green fields and woodland on the outskirts of Harrogate, renowned as a famous Spa town in the heart of rural North Yorkshire.
We are offering an interesting and important role – helping Bilton Park maintain and improve its standards of delivery and customer care.
We are looking for active, friendly, hands on people, who are looking for a rewarding role. The role can be physically demanding at times, and you will need to be able to maintain a high standard of customer experience.
Seasonal Wardens Role:
Duties will include:-
• Ensuring all our public areas are kept spotlessly clean and sanitised
• That customer interactions are friendly and professional
• Reception and shop work
• General maintenance, night duty ( on call) and gardening around the park
• Assisting with special events and any other tasks or roles to aid the park to perform at it`s best.
Further to this we are in the process of a phased development plan to further enhance the park and the chosen couple will have an opportunity to be involved in these projects, work beyond your offered contract and leave their legacy on the park for years to come.
Role Requirements:
• Experience in a similar warden role is non-essential but advantageous.
• An understanding of maintaining high standards at all times.
• Proactive role so a good level of physical fitness needed.
• Competent approach to problem solving and customer care.
• Ensuring the park is immaculately presented at all times, achieved through attention to detail.
• Positive and friendly communication skills with guests and colleagues at all levels
• The ability and desire to exceed customer expectations on an on-going basis.
• Knowledge of H&S an advantage
• Basic level of computer literacy a must with knowledge of social media an advantage.
• 7 days a week operation that requires flexibility.
Hours :- There will be a total of 70 hours, split between both parties. The majority on 4 consistent work days plus an additional day. With additional hours to cover staff holidays and busy periods. For candidates bringing additional skills extra hours and pay is negotiable.
