We are seeking an energetic, hardworking, and dynamic couple and single person to join the team at Lobb Fields Caravan and Camping Site for the upcoming season, starting in March and working through the season until September. This is a fantastic opportunity to live and work in the beautiful setting of North Devon, 5 minutes from the spectacular Saunton Sands, offering a varied and hands-on role perfect for those who thrive in a customer-facing environment.
The position is offered on a temporary contract for the season, with a minimum of 10 hours per person per week guaranteed during the low season. Hours will increase significantly during our busy periods. The wage offered will be the National Minimum Wage. In exchange for your dedication and support, we provide a free fully serviced pitch for your own touring caravan or motorhome.
The duties are diverse and require a flexible “can-do” attitude. Key responsibilities will include meeting and greeting guests, handling check-ins, taking telephone bookings, and managing our booking system. Computer literacy is essential for the booking system, although full training will be provided. Practical skills are a must, as you will be comfortable operating ride-on mowers and strimmers for grounds maintenance, collecting bins, and moving and siting caravans for our guests. You will also be responsible for maintaining our high standards of cleanliness, which includes the thorough cleaning of toilet and shower facilities, reception work, and ensuring site security. A clean UK driving licence is required for this role.
