Contract Type: Permanent (6 month fixed)
4 days on 4 days off shift pattern (3.5 days p/w average)
Core Hours: 08:30 – 18:00 (with 30-minute unpaid break)
On Call for Arrivals: 18:00 – 21:00 (Paid as overtime when worked)
On Call for Emergencies: 21:00 – 08:30
Pay: £13.45 p/h each plus overtime. Free pitch provided for the summer season including electricity.

We are looking for a friendly and reliable individual with a tourer, motorhome or camper to join our family-run holiday park near Edinburgh as a summer seasonal warden. This is a fixed-term position over the busier summer months, with a pitch provided over the summer season, which you will be required to stay in while on duty.
This is a hands-on, all-rounder role that combines both front-of-house and outdoor duties. You`ll need to be equally confident managing a busy reception and welcoming guests as you are tackling maintenance and repair work, gardening, cleaning, and other day-to-day operational tasks that keep the park running smoothly. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and can turn their hand to whatever the day brings.
This is a new position at Linwater, working alongside our existing warden. Together, you`ll share responsibilities, including out-of-hours on-call duties, and organise your schedules in a way that best supports the park and plays to your individual strengths.
Roles & Responsibilities
•Take reservations via the phone and in person.
•Answer the phone in a friendly and professional manner.
•Respond to e mails.
•Shop sales and till operations.
•Shop stock and cleaning stock management.
•Completion of daily, weekly and monthly Health and Safety checklists.
•Occasionally assist with cleaning duties
•Make up self-catering linen bundles for the housekeeping team.
•Handle guests` queries, complaints and feedback in a professional and calm manner.
•External cleaning (motorhome service area, gutters, windows etc)
•Gardening & ground maintenance
•Other office and reception tasks as required.
•Being `on call` for out-of-hours arrivals and emergency situations
