General Maintenance person / night duties

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Grounds work – grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, pitch maintenance
• General maintenance and repairs around the site including toilet blocks
• Managing the recycling and waste
• Operating and maintaining machinery, tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Completing daily and weekly tasks along with health and safety checks
• Painting and general upkeep as required
• Basic plumbing repairs
• Assisting the housekeeping team if required
• Interacting with guests – showing and assisting to pitches, providing local information, dealing with any queries
• Assisting site owner with other areas of the business as required which may include some heavy lifting
What we are looking for:
• A friendly, honest and proactive person with good customer service skills
• Has previous experience in a similar hands on role
• An understanding and being able to adhere to health and safety policies.
• Is flexible with working hours and days (may vary depending on the time of year, weather and occupancy levels)
• Can work independently and as part of a small team
Information for you
• Days: 5 days per week , 4 nights on call + holiday cover when required (may include some weekends)
• Hours: Approx 40hrs per week
• Permanent position
• Uniform and appropriate workwear provided
• This is a job that requires you to live on park. Accomodation in a wooden lodge is included, utility bills will be paid by yourself.
