We are looking for a friendly, hardworking and hands-on couple to join our small team at Cote Ghyll Mill B&B for the 2026 season.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced seasonal couple or caravan park wardens looking for a varied hospitality role with accommodation options available.
The role is shared alongside another Duty Manager couple and involves all aspects of running a busy and welcoming guest business.
Main Duties
Hospitality & Guest Services
• Welcoming and checking in guests
• Taking reservations by phone and email
• Serving food and drinks, including alcohol
• Taking food orders and assisting with food service
• Providing excellent customer care at all times
Kitchen & Food Preparation
• Preparing and cooking breakfasts in a commercial kitchen
• Preparing packed lunches
• Cooking pizzas and assisting with general food prep
• Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards
Housekeeping
• Cleaning guest bedrooms and communal areas daily
• Maintaining high cleanliness standards throughout the Mill
• Helping ensure guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming stay
About You
• Friendly, reliable and self-motivated
• Happy working as part of a small team
• Practical and hands-on with a positive attitude
• Comfortable with split shifts and weekend work
• Computer literate
• Previous hospitality, catering, housekeeping or warden experience would be an advantage
We are ideally looking for a couple with a seasonal work mentality — people who understand the nature of hospitality and tourism businesses during busy seasons and are committed throughout the season.
Hours & Season
• Approximately 30–40 hours per person per week
• Split shifts and weekend working required
• Seasonal position: immediate start until end of October 2026
• Returning from late February 2027 for the new season
Pay & Accommodation
• £13.25 – £14.50 per hour depending on experience
• Holiday pay plus bonus
• Accommodation options available:
o Touring pitch for caravan or motorhome
o Potential apartment accommodation for the right couple
