We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and reliable Park Warden couple to join our team At Bryn Gloch Caravan & Camping Park. Our family -run park is set at the foot of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) on the banks of Gwyrfai, this award- winning site has breath-taking views of the countryside surrounding it.
Bryn Gloch is an 38 acre site that can accommodate touring caravans, motorhomes, campervans, folding campers, tents, trailers tents, RV’s and including 118 seasonal pitches. We also have a selection of static accommodation, Shepherd Huts and a Holiday cottage, making this a destination that caters for all.
Facilities include a games room, small site shop, reception, laundry, T.V room, 5 toilet/shower blocks and a food truck. Local food/drinks vendors feature at Bryn Gloch during the summer months.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Carrying out general park maintenance, including basic plumbing, fencing, and painting.
• Changeover cleaning of static rentals and holiday house.
• Undertaking gardening duties such as operating ride-on lawnmowers, planting and maintaining flowers, strimming, and weeding.
• Maintaining all outdoor areas to a high standard, including DIY tasks, painting, and pitch maintenance.
• Ensuring a consistently high standard of cleanliness across all facility blocks.
• Meeting and welcoming new arrivals, explaining site rules, and providing guidance on pitching procedures.
• Completing basic office duties, including answering telephone enquiries, taking payments, and processing bookings through GemaPark.
• Carry out basic shop duties
• Conducting evening site walk/drive rounds, including responding to on-call issues when required.
• Carrying out refuse collection and helping keep the site clean, tidy, and well presented.
Skills & Experience Required:
• A full UK driving licence is preferable, as the role requires driving company vehicles around the park.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual outdoor work.
• Previous experience in park maintenance and gardening is desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive, friendly, “can-do” attitude, and a willingness to go above and beyond for guests.
• Willingness to learn new skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
