Live-In Maintenance & Housekeeping Couple / Park Wardens

Permanent, full-time, live-in positions

Manleigh Park seeks a practical, friendly two-person team to live on-site and look after our holiday park. One person will focus on hands-on cleaning, changeovers and guests; the other on grounds, repairs and site upkeep. Together, you will be the face of the park, helping guests enjoy their stay and want to return.

HOUSEKEEPING & GUEST SERVICES
Cleaning and preparing chalets and lodges is the MAIN responsibility of this position. You will personally:
– Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas between stays.
– Change beds, handle linen and complete changeovers before new arrivals.
– Check accommodation is spotless, fully equipped and ready for guests.
– Report damage and repairs needed.
– Welcome guests on arrival, show them to their accommodation and assist with departure.
– Help guests during their stay, resolve everyday issues and provide a warm, professional experience.

This is a hands-on cleaning role, not a position supervising cleaning staff.

GROUNDS MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS
The second position is responsible for the appearance and upkeep of the park:
– Grass cutting, strimming, weed control and hedge cutting.
– Routine tree and vegetation care; arranging specialists for tree surgery where needed.
– Maintaining paths, pitches, landscaped and communal areas.
– General chalet and lodge repairs, including minor plumbing, carpentry, fencing, decking and decorating.
– Checking park equipment and facilities, identifying and resolving maintenance issues.
– Responding to on-site emergencies, making areas safe and arranging specialist help where required.

SHARED PARK WARDEN DUTIES
You will welcome and see off holidaymakers, be approachable throughout their stay and help make Manleigh Park somewhere guests want to revisit and recommend. Both of you will help with accommodation changeovers at busy times.

You will live on-site and be a contact for urgent park incidents, with agreed emergency cover and time off. Occasional other duties include showing unexpected visitors available lodges or caravans when our sales team is unavailable, and helping with our small bar when open.

WORKING PATTERN
This is not a conventional 9-to-5 role. Flexibility is needed for guest arrivals and departures, changeovers, weekends, bank holidays and seasonal demand. Working arrangements and time off will be agreed.

PACKAGE & APPLICATIONS
£25,000 per person / £50,000 combined annual salary, PLUS free on-site accommodation and all household bills and utilities covered.
