Experienced Person/Warden Couple required for a busy camping & caravan park just on the edge of Cheadle, in Staffordshire Moorlands on the edge of the peak district in Staffordshire.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, Trustworthy and competent couple to assist in the everyday smooth running of our site. You will both be working 3/4 days a week (together) and you must be prepared to work weekends and bank holidays.
You should have a positive attitude and a flexible approach and be able to work using your own initiative as well as working under guidance and instruction from the park owner.
The successful applicants will work alongside the Park Owners and will have a variety of roles and responsibilities on the park which will include:-
Health & Safety (Risk assessments and checklists will be provided)
First Aid and DEFIB trained is desirable however training may be given.
Handling enquiries and taking advance bookings
Welcoming and registering new arrivals
Handling payments
Providing information to customers
Resolving customers problems and disputes
Ensuring that customers abide by site rules
Routine cleanliness checks and topical cleaning of the facilities
Regular comprehensive deep cleaning of the facilities
Litter picking
Waste management
Maintenance of fixtures, fittings, and equipment
Cleaning and maintaining shower block and pods
You will need to have an easy-going attitude and enjoy helping others. Being part of the team is important. Prior experience required. Both applicants need to be flexible team players.
If you want a defined role, think this job is too much hard work, or this is a “retirement” role this is NOT the job for you. However if you are willing to work hard and fit in with the team this will be the absolute best job.
The successful applicants will need their own caravan or motor-home and a pitch will be provided free of charge should they wish to live on site.
Working hours will vary depending upon the time of year and business requirements but will include dealing with late night arrivals and evening safety rounds during the touring season.
