An opportunity has arisen for a couple who want to work to live and not live to work. Mixing seasonal working and traveling life.
We have a warden couple position available here at Hendre Mynach Caravan and Camping Park, which is a very busy site next to an outstanding beach. Twenty minutes walk away is the pretty harbour town of Barmouth where you will find the towns, pubs, restaurants, and a range of boutique shops. The town itself hosts lots of activities and events throughout the season.
Our touring park is in a prime location and is very popular with our customers who expect extremely high standards throughout the park grounds and especially in our shower and toilet block facilities. We have several Pods, Shepherds Huts and Static caravans to let, including Touring and Camping pitches.
Duties will include but not limited to:
•General Park Maintenance – wet plumbing, fencing, painting.
•Gardening – ride on lawnmowers, flowers, strimming, weeding.
•Maintaining all outdoor areas – D.I.Y skills, painting, pitch maintenance.
•To maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all our facility blocks.
•Meet and greet new arrivals, explain site rules and how to pitch guide.
•Basic office work – answering the phone, taking payments and making bookings through Gemapark.
•Evening site walk/Drive rounds including on calls.
•Refuse collection.
Skills required for the role:
•Full UK driving licence is preferable due to the requirement to drive company vehicles on the park.
•Physically fit.
•Some experience of park maintenance and gardening is preferred
•Excellent customer service skills along with a happy and willing, can – do attitude and willing to go above and beyond.
•Willingness to learn new skills and ability to work as part of a team and individually is essential.
•Full flexibility within the role and hours required to work.
We are a family and couples site only, so most of our very busy times are during bank holidays and the main school holidays. You should both be physically fit with a good all-round stamina.
A can-do attitude is an absolute must along with excellent customer service skills.
