Lyon Leisure Ltd Out of Ours Warden Job Vacancy

Lyon Leisure is a family run business consisting of two holiday parks near Penrith. We are looking to welcome a new member of the team for the role of out of hours warden for our sites, Flusco Wood and Hartsop Fold. This will be mainly based at our larger park, Flusco Wood, where the onsite accommodation included is based.

The role will include assisting our current team with guest check-ins on Mondays and Fridays (check in time starts at 4pm). You will also cover the out of hour phone calls and texts on Fridays (evenings), Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (morning and evening). You’ll be expected to carry out basic maintenance to resolve guest issues such as low-pressure boilers, leaking taps, faulty door locks etc.

There may be some hot tub checking over weekends alongside the weekend staff. Being a practical individual will help to fulfil the overall role.

All PPE and equipment will be provided.

Hours
-Friday start 4pm (checking in, usually all guests arrive before 9:30pm) and on call phone cover through until Saturday
-Saturday & Sunday (until 9am Monday) all day and evening phone cover as well as assisting guests and lodge owners with their queries. You will be in Reception between 9am – 11am on both Saturday and Sunday (or longer if it is busy) and the rest of the day on call. You may also be required to help the hot tub team and linen picking (alongside our current weekend team)
-Monday start 4pm checking in guests (same as Friday) and on call phone cover through until Tuesday 9am

The Accommodation
You will be provided with your own 2 bedroom lodge at Flusco Wood (near Penrith) with large living space, kitchen and bathroom, as well as private decking area and use of surrounding open green space. Reasonable use of electricity, water and gas will be provided by Lyon Leisure as part of the package.

Travel
You will be able to use the pool vehicles on site for travel between both sites when at work.

Requirements
Full clean UK driving license
Experience with guests
Maintenance experience preferred
Practical abilities and mindset
Be able to provide a friendly support for guests on site
