Award Winning, Adult-only, Cosawes Park, will be looking for a warden team to commence at the end of 2024.
Cosawes Park is open 52 weeks and includes a 50-pitch campsite and residential retirement park of 121 homes. The position is all year round & permanent.
Starting around December 2024, initially for 2025 we will be looking for an out of office hours main warden to oversee camping arrivals, enquiries and provide first class on-call service to our touring customers. Additionally, the successful candidate will be available for any emergencies which might arise across the whole business and general light duties as the business requires. Including but not limited to;
Taking, amending & attending to guest reservations and payments.
Monitoring guest adherence to site rules. Diplomatically resolving breaches.
Maintaining visual aspect of camping pitches.
Daily management of customer refuse and recycling.
Potentially covering holiday and sickness cover facility block cleaning.
Remuneration includes an hourly rate above minimum wage for hours spent physically responding to calls and camping business. Provision of a fully serviced hard-standing pitch for your caravan or motorhome (offset against on-call hours), fair-use electricity, free Wi-Fi, use of a lock-up garage, Paid annual holiday pro-rata to the equivalent to 28 days. This broadly part-time role would provide a top-up income for someone looking for permanent evening and weekend work. Hours of work/availability: Three evenings; Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 5pm to 9pm. Weekend 9am to 9pm, Bank Holidays 9am to 9pm. Plus holiday cover of our other warden team.
However, following the anticipated retirement of our current husband and wife team, from the autumn/winter of 2025 this work would expand to include facility cleaning two hours per day (more as necessary during peak season), and the option of a full-time general maintenance role. Tasks this additional full-time role will include but not limited to:
Grass cutting, strimming, hedge-cutting, road sweeping, vehicle maintenance, health and safety periodic checks of amenity services and equipment, general site maintenance and repairs.
As front of house these roles are very customer focussed. A confident, outward & personable disposition is essential. The provision of first-class customer service must be the successful applicants main focus. Ideally you may have experience of using systems for the purpose of booking, reservations, and processing payments, though training will be provided. You will be motivated, self-reliant, and conversant with relevant health and safety requirements when dealing with the public. Cosawes has built a valuable reputation on providing spotless amenities and very excellent customer service. The principles of our amenity housekeeping are at an high level as borne out by our customer exit reviews. Retaining this reputation should be of paramount importance to applicants.
