Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Warden/ Handy Man to join our team to work on a residential park home site near Pontefract. The ideal candidate will possess a range of maintenance and repair skills, enabling them to tackle various tasks around residential rental properties. Full driving licence is required. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Please note that you are required to live on site in a rent free 2-bedroom park home. Due to the park licence being for retirement, children are not allowed to live on the park.
Responsibilities
– Perform general maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, electrical and construction work, .
– Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and standards. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
– Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.
– Communicate effectively with clients and Park Owner/Head Office to understand their needs and provide solutions.
Experience
– Proven experience as a Warden / Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred. Suitable for Ex farmers etc!
– Strong knowledge of various repair techniques and maintenance practices.
– Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials used in construction and repair work.
– Excellent problem-solving skills
– Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks efficiently.
– Good communication skills

This is a full-time live-in position, normal hours of work are 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday, but you are required to be on call after these hours for emergencies only on the park. We are looking for the chosen candidate to be available to start work 05.01.26
