Park Warden – Hay-on-Wye Caravan Park
An opportunity has arisen for a versatile individual to join the team at Hay-on-Wye Caravan Park. We are looking for a practical, customer-focused individual who enjoys a varied role.
Located amongst rolling countryside and just a short distance from the charming market town of Hay-on-Wye, our family-owned park offers a peaceful environment for our guests, with 18 owner-occupied holiday homes, 17 seasonal touring pitches, plus and touring & camping pitches and a shepherd’s hut.

About the Role
Reporting to the Park Managers, you will assist in the smooth day-to-day running of the park. Duties include (but are not limited to):
• General grounds maintenance and gardening.
• Touring and camping bookings (telephone and online booking system).
• Cleaning of washrooms, holiday homes and park buildings.
• Holiday home siting and pitch development.
• Reception duties and customer enquiries.
• Telephone and email administration.
• Assisting with holiday home sales on the Park Managers’ days off.
• General park maintenance and presentation.
Full training will be provided, so previous experience, whilst advantageous, is not essential.
Required Skills & Qualities
• Practical, hands-on and willing to undertake a variety of tasks.
• Approachable and customer-focused.
• Full UK driving licence essential.
Working Hours
• Full-time, permanent position.
• Typically 5-6 days per week, depending on workload and Park Manager holiday cover.
• Weekend and Bank Holiday working is required.
• Flexibility is essential, as the Park Warden provides cover for the Park Managers’ days off and annual leave.
Pay & Benefits:
• £13.05 per hour.
• Rent-free two-bedroom accommodation provided.
• Commission for each holiday home sale, following completion of sales training.

• Electricity and gas charged separately.
