Exciting opportunity to work within a highly successful family business at our Woodlands Park site near Knutsford, one of three sites within the group.

Due to the planned retirement of our current Park Warden, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, capable and reliable Park Warden Couple to join our team at our Woodlands Park site.
Our friendly site is perfectly positioned to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of rural Cheshire.

We have a combination of residential park homes, a large number of privately-owned static holiday caravans, plus seasonal touring caravan pitches. We also offer a small number of general touring pitches.

We are seeking a couple willing to work together, to manage & maintain our busy park. The positions are all year round & permanent. A couple could ideally split responsibilities between them, to cover all areas from administration to general · maintenance. Starting as soon as mutually convenient, the successful applicants will be taught all aspects of the business by the current Park Warden & Deputy Warden, with a view to taking over full responsibility for the site from March 2025.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• ensuring park and facilities are kept clean, tidy and to a high standard
• daily cleaning & inspecting of toilet/shower block
• general park maintenance: plumbing, basic electrics, painting
• maintaining all outdoor areas: grass cutting, strimming, weeding, hedge-cutting, road sweeping
• changing gas bottles
• siting of holiday homes for sale
• reading gas and electricity meters
• Health & Safety procedures and checks
• attending and dealing with emergencies outside of social hours
• answering telephone and dealing with enquiries
• sending and receiving emails
• taking bookings, collecting rents
• processing debit/credit card payments
• dealing with visitors on a daily basis
• handling complaints

The successful couple must be friendly, enthusiastic, hardworking, articulate, reliable, use common sense and be able to work as part of a team. You must have excellent customer service skills and be flexible. Previous experience preferable but not essential

This is a full-time permanent position. As we operate in the tourism industry weekend and bank holiday work will be necessary.

Full UK driving license is essential due to the requirement to drive company vehicles on park

DBS check will be required.

Remuneration:

The joint position pays £40,000 per annum plus discretionary performance related bonuses.

A free of charge touring pitch or holiday home accommodation will be provided. Electricity and gas usage chargeable.

28 days paid annual leave. Two weeks holiday must be taken during the Park’s closed period in January & February.

We are unable to consider couples with dependents or pets, however 1 dog may be permitted dependent on the breed.
