Ryan Bay Holiday & Residential Park is situated on the banks of Loch Ryan near Stranraer, Scotland. We offer a warm welcome, and a peaceful atmosphere for our owners and guests.
The park currently has
• 50 privately owned Static Holiday Homes (no sub-letting) and 20 Residential Homes
• 20 Touring Pitches
• 6 Caravan Holiday Homes and 6 glamping pods for hire.
The Roles
We’re looking for an active, friendly and hardworking warden couple to join our small, dedicated team.
Previous Park experience is essential. We are looking for people who are –
• Reliable and honest
• Flexible and self-motivated
• Practical, with good attention to detail
• Customer-focused and enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Ensuring a consistently high standard of cleanliness across all facilities which includes daily cleaning of toilet and shower block.
Housekeeping of rental units
Carrying out general park maintenance, including basic plumbing, fencing, and painting.
Undertaking gardening duties such as operating ride-on lawnmowers, planting and maintaining flowers, strimming, and weeding.
Maintaining all outdoor areas to a high standard, including DIY tasks, painting, and pitch maintenance.
Meeting and welcoming new arrivals, explaining site rules, and providing guidance on pitching procedures.
Completing basic office duties, including answering telephone enquiries, taking payments, and processing bookings through CampManager
Conducting evening site walk/drive rounds, including responding to on-call issues when required.
Carrying out refuse collection and helping keep the site clean, tidy, and well presented.
Care of onsite animals including a donkey, 2 alpacas, 2 goats, some chickens.
Skills & Experience Required:
• A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role requires driving company vehicles around the park.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual outdoor work.
• Previous experience in park maintenance and gardening is desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive, friendly, “can-do” attitude, and a willingness to go above and beyond for guests.
• Willingness to learn new skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
