We are seeking a Warden to join our friendly team in the 2024 season, we are a small but popular touring/privately owned holiday caravan park based within The Trossachs National Park.
The ideal candidate must be reliable, trustworthy with good communication skills and excellent customer service. You will need to be physically fit with an all-round stamina and a happy, willing, can-do attitude.
You work as part of a busy team and work independently using own initiative, when necessary, you will be expected to perform some office duties, a great telephone manner along with great people skills is a must.
Maintaining very high standards throughout the park grounds especially in our shower and toilet block facilities is a constant priority. Duties are not limited to any specific area so you need to be a good all rounder
Previous warden skills, basic computer knowledge and caravanning experience would be an advantage although not essential.
Your role will be to support the Park Manager and Head Of Grounds.
This role will vary day to day and cover a wide range of duties including –
. Housekeeping of both toilet/shower/amenity blocks.
. Maintenance/ground work throughout the park, including grass cutting/strimming & general tidy ups keeping the park to its 5 star standard.
. Assist with the towing/manoeuvring/installation of touring and static holiday homes if required.
. Reception work including checking in customers and maintaining computerised booking systems.
. Any other tasks management deem necessary.
. During on-call nights, you are required deal with any drop in customers and late check ins, you are responsible for the on call phone dealing with any emergencies or issues throughout the night
. Employment runs from Mid March – End Of October.
This role will be resident on site, working 5 days out of 7 on a rolling 3 week rota, including 2/3 on call nights this includes bank holidays and weekends.
Hours are 35 on average each week, hours may increase during busy periods.
Holiday entitlement incurred during the seasonal position will be paid in November.
